CBS Radio News, distributed exclusively by Westwood One, announced the launch of the new Reporter’s Notebook news feature on nearly 200 radio stations nationwide. Debuting 5/20, the one-minute news feature will replace Katie Couric’s Notebook (as she is departing the CBS TV network’s evening news) which ends on 5/19. Stations airing Reporter’s Notebook in 20 of the top 25 markets include: WCBS-AM New York, WBBM-AM Chicago, KNX-AM Los Angeles, KCBS-AM San Francisco and WWJ-AM Detroit, among others.
Reporter’s Notebook will feature observations and analysis, frequently from the site of breaking news, from CBS correspondents including: Chief Washington Correspondent Bob Schieffer, Chief Foreign Correspondent Lara Logan, Chip Reid, Anthony Mason and John Blackstone, among others.
