Swansea, Wales-based Quicklink is gearing up to demonstrate their remote guest products, now featuring the AV1 codec for enhanced production quality, at the upcoming IBC 2023 conference in Amsterdam.
The introduction of AV1 delivers improved image quality from what the H.265/HEVC offerings have delivered. According to Quicklink, they can maintain high-quality from low to high data rates, making it highly capable of consistent, superior-quality, real-time video delivery.
“The Quicklink Studio (ST55) solution allows for the introduction of high-quality remote guest contributions and works within a simple web browser, with no apps or software installs required by any remote guests,” the company says. “Your remote guest talent can be invited via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or by generating a simple URL link, and with the Assisted Invite feature, they can be taken through a series of step-by-step instructions to ensure your contributors are fully prepared, set up, and tested to go into a live environment.”
IBC 2023 is scheduled for September 15-18. Quicklink Cre8 and Quicklink will be at Stand 7.B50.
