Republicans on Capitol Hill are hardly satisfied with the “clawback” of preauthorized federal funding of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for just the 2025 fiscal year.
The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies’ on Tuesday returned from the Labor Day holiday by acting to remove any funding for local public broadcasting stations in its FY 2026 appropriations bill.
