A Long Island, N.Y.-based company known for broadcast media industry signal conversion and fiber-optic-based transport systems has hired a Chief Marketing Officer who is joining the company “on a fractional basis.” At the same time, MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has promoted from within to fill the role of Sales and Strategy EVP.
Broadcast industry veteran Neil Maycock joins the company as CMO, reporting to CEO Frank Jachetta.
Concurrently, Sebastian Mucha has been promoted to Exec. Vice President of Sales and Strategy, reporting to COO Howard Richards.
Maycock brings decades of marketing and operations experience to MultiDyne, including executive leadership roles at Grass Valley, Pebble and other familiar broadcast brands. “These experiences reach across the business and technology sectors of broadcast, fueling his comprehensive approach to strategic marketing and industry analysis,” MultiDyne said. “His vision includes creating and driving successful initiatives powered through his knowledge of market dynamics, business opportunities and competitive analysis in both broadcast and adjacent media markets, including professional AV.”
“My goal is to remain as holistic as possible to keep the leadership team informed and help them make the best businesses decisions based on a diversity of information,” said Maycock. “MultiDyne is well-known as a leader in fiber-optic technology and rightly so, though they recently strengthened their offerings in audio, software connectivity, and the IP transition. As a company that has maintained profitability as they continue to grow, I look forward to working with Frank and his various teams as we map out these and other opportunities and determine what’s most attractive to the future of the business.”
In his new role, Mucha will oversee global sales and business strategy, focusing on growth, product alignment, and expanding MultiDyne’s international presence. Based in Europe, he will continue to support EMEA operations while taking on broader global responsibilities. He’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to keep all divisions aligned under a shared vision.
Mucha commented, “Our focus is on building a more customer- and partner-centric organization that connects innovation, go-to-market execution, and worldwide growth. We’re positioning MultiDyne as a product leader and a trusted solutions partner driving the industry’s transition to IP, cloud-ready, and hybrid workflows.”
