LAS VEGAS — MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems is now shipping the first entry to its Crescendo Series of audio and signal processing tools. Making its NAB Show debut, the C16-AM-12G audio monitor marries a broadcast quality feature set with a compact and modernized design to benefit demanding live productions across broadcast, sports and Pro AV environments.

Introduced at IBC2025 last September, the C16-AM-12G was built with modern networks and hybrid workflows in mind, including SDI/IP systems with Dante or AES67 options. A recent change to the Dante networking architecture now allows C16-AM-12G users to support both Dante and AES67 audio instead of one or the other at no additional cost.

MultiDyne developed the C16-AM-12G in-house, building off the audio design experience and talent added to MultiDyne’s engineering team via a strategic acquisition.

Its modernized design optimizes broadcast-quality audio monitoring for studios, trucks, and ProAV integrators building advanced auditoriums, briefing centers, and flypacks.

The C16-AM-12G’s 1RU form factor delivers full dynamic range and exceptional clarity, with support for 16-channel audio monitoring. Customers are assured confidence monitoring in challenging acoustic spaces and high-noise machine rooms found in enterprise and event-production facilities.

C16-AM-12G’s flexibility extends to monitoring individual channels on-the-fly, and downmixes to left/right channels for either listening through the built-in speakers, headphone jack or variable level output driving external active speakers. The C16-AM-12G supports redundant power supplies and expanded Ross Dashboard integration, as will all future Crescendo Series monitors.

“The Crescendo Series represents MultiDyne’s audio monitoring platform of the future, with new hardware, a modern networking architecture, and refined design characteristics,” said Jesse Foster, Director of Strategic Accounts and Products at MultiDyne. “Featuring 12G-SDI and IP audio options including Dante and AES67, with support for ST 2110-30 and IPMX audio interoperability, our first Crescendo release offers a comprehensive toolset for audio monitoring across todays expanding live production universe.”

MultiDyne can be found in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (C4425) across the 2026 NAB Show through Wednesday, April 22.
