It’s a small city due northeast of Springfield, Mo., and that’s good enough of a locale for the parent of MeTV Network to strike a deal to purchase a low-power TV station in a newly filed transaction awaiting FCC regulatory approval.
Through its TV-49 Inc. holding, Weigel Broadcasting is agreeing to purchase K14SH-D in Marshfield, Mo., from New Life Evangelistic Church.
The purchase price is $100,000, with a $10,000 deposit being made by Weigel. The remainder will be paid in cash at closing.
