The MeTV Toons Network, a Weigel Broadcasting offering, is now available in HD to Xfinity customers “in the majority of markets” across the Comcast MVPD’s footprint.
The network is available on channel 1736, Weigel says.
The offering is a throwback to the original Cartoon Network of 35 years ago, with content ranging from Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Woody Woodpecker to Popeye, Speed Racer and other classic animated series.
“This is a meaningful win for Xfinity subscribers, and we look forward to welcoming even more fans into the world of MeTV Toons, a television destination unlike any other,” said Weigel Vice Chairman Neal Sabin.
