MaxxKonnect, known for prioritized internet connectivity, broadcast technology, and engineering services, is welcoming a former Cumulus Media veteran to the team, taking the role of Development and Support Engineer.

Dave Supplee spent 26 years with Cumulus Media, where he served as Regional Engineer for the Northeast and led major studio builds, transmitter relocations, and complex infrastructure projects, including the relocation and diplexing of WMAL-AM and WSPZ-AM in the Washington, D.C. market.

Supplee has worked on both sides of the mic with a focus on engineering, operations, and management. He also worked closely with the Cumulus FCC regulatory team, coordinating technical filings and compliance efforts for the company.

He now reports to MaxxKonnect President/CEO Josh Bohn. “Dave was my original Chief Engineer back in 1994 when I was a part-time baby broadcaster,” Bohn says. “Now, I know for sure that he is the perfect addition to our technical team. He’s got the knowledge, attention to detail and work ethic to ensure our products and services continue to evolve.”

In his new role, Supplee will focus on product design, evaluation, and refinement, supporting MaxxKonnect’s expanding portfolio of connectivity and broadcast solutions.

Supplee added, “I’ve been involved in a lot of different aspects of broadcasting over the years, and what stood out to me about MaxxKonnect is the focus on building practical tools that engineers and stations will rely on. It’s exciting to be part of developing solutions that will help move the industry forward.”

While at Cumulus, he worked closely with Broadcast Software International (BSI) to help develop the OpX automation system and the company’s skimmer platform.
