LAS VEGAS — In the U.S., GeoBroadcast Solutions is eagerly seeking FCC authorization for program origination on an FM radio booster — a rulemaking that is integral to its “ZoneCasting” technology, which would make a MHz-based signal more hyperlocal.
That said, ZoneCasting, and its MaxxCasting technology that offers fill-in coverage within a signal contour for a FM radio station, are being added to a public radio broadcaster — one half a world away.
