LOUISVLLE — The three AMs and five FM radio stations owned by iHeartMedia in Louisville have a new VP of Programming, overseeing what comes out of the speakers for a total of nine audio brands serving Kentucky’s largest market.
Christopher Layfield is now overseeing the programming for WAMZ-FM, WHAS-AM, WSDF-FM, WQMF-FM, WNRW-FM, WTFX-FM, WKJK-AM and WKRD-AM.
Layfield reports to iHeartMedia Louisville Area President Kristy Beebee. He previously held the role of Sr. VP of Programming for Cumulus Media’s Indianapolis stations. Previous experience includes roles as a Program Director for WHQC and WLKO in Charlotte, KSLZ in St. Louis and WRVQ “Q94” in Richmond under iHeartMedia ownership.
