As July 1 began, a media broker presently in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for the summer shared the news that Educational Media Foundation is growing again.
Where? In the Sunshine State, where this veteran broker is based when the weather in the Adirondacks gets cooler.
Michael J. Bergner is confirming the acquisition of WYGC-FM 104.9 in High Springs, Fla., by EMF.
The seller is JVC Media of Florida, the operation led by John Caracciolo that also owns radio stations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties of New York.
Details including the purchase price and escrow payment were not made available by Bergner; a filing in the FCC’s LMS is forthcoming.
