The broadcast technology company committed to bringing visuals to broadcast radio in the in-vehicle dashboard has hired an individual whose duties will be squarely focused on special projects and innovation.
The Steve Newberry-helmed Quu Inc. is welcoming Alan Jurison, who will spearhead initiatives to enhance radio broadcasts with dynamic visual programming and sales messaging, the company says.
He reports Quu Senior Director of Technical Services Joe Marshall.
Jurison is known for his tenure as Senior Operations Engineer at iHeartMedia.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about elevating radio technology and helping the industry understand the critical role of metadata, especially in the digital dashboard,” Jurison said. “Joining Quu is an incredible opportunity to build on that mission. I’m eager to contribute to this talented team’s efforts to strengthen radio stations’ relationships with their listeners and advertising clients.”
Newberry, the former EVP for Industry Affairs and Strategic Planning at the National Association of Broadcasters, serves as Quu’s CEO.
