PORTLAND, ORE. — He began as an Account Executive, and has risen to Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and, most recently, Director of Sales for a seven-station Pacific Northwest radio group.
Meet the new Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Audacy Inc.‘s radio stations in the Rose City.
In this role, Ryan Cooley will oversee Classic Rock KGON-FM, Sports KMTT-AM “ESPN 910,” Alternative Rock KNRK-FM, Adult Contemporary KRSK-FM “Bella 105,” Country KWJJ-FM “99.5 The Wolf,” Adult Hits KYCH-FM “97.1 Charlie,” and KFXX-AM “1080 The Fan.” HD multicast offerings associated with KNRK and the company’s LGBTQ+ “Channel Q” national format will also be under Cooley’s purview.

Cooley began his career at the company then-known as Entercom in February 2005 as a Sales Associate in Portland, Ore. In November 2011, he transferred to the company’s San Francisco stations to serve as LSM for “95.7 The Game,” KGMZ-FM. Nine nonths later, he was back in Portland, taking on General Sales Manager duties for The Fan. From September 2016 to November 2021, Cooley was a Sr. AE for Audacy in Boston, focused on Sports Talk WEEI-FM.
