He was a fixture at Entravision since its 2000 acquisition of Latin Communications Group until exiting earlier this year. Now, he’s joining Carlos Moncada in supporting MLC Media’s broadcast operations as it seeks to grow the production and distribution of syndicated Spanish-language radio audio and digital content.
As a Senior Advisor to MLC Media, Jeffery Liberman will work with leadership across all of MLC’s sister companies while reporting directly to Moncada.
Until late February 2026, Liberman was the high-profile President/COO of Entravision, and was a key executive at a company founded by the late Walter Ulloa. Following his death, new leadership repositioned Entravision as a global digital advertising-focused operation. Today, digital drives the dollars for Los Angeles-headquartered Entravision as it begins a plan to reenergize its beleaguered broadcast radio and television properties targeting U.S. Hispanics.
Liberman began his career in Spanish-language broadcasting in 1974. Over time, he advanced through senior leadership roles, leading Entravision’s radio division before being named Chief Operating Officer in 2017 and later serving as President and Chief Operating Officer 9 years.
“For over 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Jeff during his time at Entravision, particularly through our collaboration on the Alex Lucas radio show,” said Moncada. “He brings unmatched industry expertise, operational discipline, and a deep understanding of the Spanish-language media landscape. His leadership will play a critical role as we continue to scale MLC Media and strengthen our broadcast capabilities.”
Liberman added, “I am thrilled to join the talented team that Carlos has built at MLC Media at such a pivotal time in our industry. MLC is in a great position to scale and expand its business, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s continued growth and success in the evolving media landscape.”
