That’s an assertion made by House Energy & Commerce Committee Ranking Member Frank Pallone Jr. (D-N.J.) on Tuesday in his opening remarks at a Communications and Technology Subcommittee hearing focused on oversight and the reauthorization of the FCC.
Pallone also pulled no punches in blasting Subcommittee Chair Marsha Blackburn for not having the hearing until now; it was originally scheduled for a time just hours after a similar hearing conducted by the Senate Commerce Committee, which Blackburn declined to note in her explanation to Pallone.
