DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. — It has been one year since SiriusXM launched a channel curated and hosted by singer-songwriter John Mayer, and it has proven to be a smash hit with subscribers. Now, Mayer is launching an interview series featuring “intimate and extensive” conversations between the musician and some of his more notable peers.
The first episode of the new “How’s Life,” hosted by Mayer, drops at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day (11/28) on the “Life With John Mayer” channel, found on dial position 14. The first guest? Billy Joel.
The inaugural episode of “How’s Life” follows Mayer’s live broadcast from the SiriusXM Los Angeles studios, with a mix of music and live calls starting at 2pm Eastern and leading into the show with Mr. Joel.
Forthcoming guests for “How’s Life” include Shawn Mendes, back on tour after a break for mental health; and Maren Morris.
