It’s one of the world’s most-accessed live streaming audio services and in recent months has put its PR in overdrive as it establishes itself in the U.S. as a key access point for broadcast radio.
Now, it is making its premium audio offerings available by simply saying “Hey, Alexa!” to an Amazon-branded smart speaker.
As of today, TuneInPremium can be heard across all Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. This includes live sports, commercial-free news, and commercial-free music.
The timing coincides with the recent start of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.
For those with an Alexa device who aren’t premium users of TuneIn, a three-month introductory free trial offer is being extended upon first enabling TuneIn Premium. TuneIn subscribers pay $9.99 per month following the trial period.
