Stocks on Tuesday closed nearly unchanged after a two-session rise as Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke urged lawmakers to reach a budget agreement and end uncertainty over the fiscal cliff of scheduled spending cuts and tax hikes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 7.45 points, or less than 0.1%, to 12,788.51.
The RBR Radio Index was down 6.521, or 1.7%, to 386.900.
The TVBR Television Index was up .171, or .1%, to 315.698.
