PUNTA GORDA, FLA. — The wife of deceased longtime radio station owner Don Crisp, who today lives in Charlotte County, Fla., has signed off on the sale of a 1kw AM radio station and its FM translator.
The facilities serve a small town in the Volunteer State, and their sale was engineered by broker George Kimble of Kozacko Media Services.
Patricia Crisp-led CB Radio Inc. has signed off on the sale of WBEJ-AM 1240 in Elizabethtown, Tenn., which serves a part of the Johnson City, Tenn., listening area.
The transaction, valued at $370,000, includes W300CC at 107.9 MHz.
The buyer is Kenneth Hill, who will add WBEJ and W300CC to a collection of radio stations including WETB-AM 790 in Johnson City, WHGG-AM in Kingsport, and WPWT-AM in Colonial Heights, Tenn.
WBEJ offers a Country Adult Contemporary format with a locally hosted morning show and local sports programming.
