Four networks. One screen. Zero flipping.

That’s a feature DirecTV pioneered in the late-2000s. Now, it has launched seven new multiview “Mix Channels” on its streaming platform.

The new offerings, available from August 19, allow Signature Package and Genre Pack
customers to watch up to four live programs at the same time — on a single screen.

DirecTV Head of Product Vikash Sharma commented, “DirecTV has innovation in our DNA and is proud to have pioneered multi-channel viewing nearly two decades ago. Now we’re
bringing the next generation of multiview to streaming with new mix channels to give consumers more flexibility and control over how they watch and discover their favorite
programming—whether it’s four games, four news channels, or a mix for everyone in the
house.”

The following new mixes are available to Signature Package and Genre Pack customers based on the channels included in their lineup:
  • Sports Mix – ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, NBC Sports (Signature, MySports)
  • League Sports Mix – MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network, NHL Network (Signature,
    MySports)
  • News Mix – CNN, Fox News Channel, Fox Weather, MSNBC (Signature, MySports,
    MyNews, MyEntertainment)
  • Business Mix – Bloomberg Television, Cheddar News, CNBC, Fox Business,
    (Signature, MyNews)
  • Kids Mix – Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Disney XD, Nickelodeon (Signature, MyKids)

Importantly, in select markets where DirecTV has the rights to stream ABC, CBS, Fox and
NBC local stations, a Locals Mix (ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC) will be available for Signature
Package, MySports and MyNews customers.

A separate Sunday Sports Mix (CBS, Fox, ESPN and FS1) will be available beginning Sept. 7 for select Signature Package and MySports customers.
