DCCC keying 2014 attack on Paul Ryan

0

Democrat and RepublicanThe 2014 election cycle is already in progress. Wisconsin Rep. and recent VP candidate Paul Ryan (R-WI) has seen his budget pass the House on a party line vote, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is making sure that voters in 17 swing districts know their Rep. supported it.

The Democrats are calling the Ryan approach Robin Hood in reverse – that is, taking from the poor for the benefit of the rich. DCC believes that a substantial number of Americans would rather see the rich paying more, not less, and is taking the message battleground districts in hopes of moving Republican-held seats into the Democratic column.

The current campaign is using the internet. DCCC is not saying how much it’s spending.

Here is the list of targeted reps:
Tim Griffin (R-AR)
Tom Cotton (R-AR)
David Valadao (R-CA)
Gary Miller (R-CA)
Mike Coffman (R-CO)
Larry Bucshon (R-IN)
John Kline (R-MN)
Erik Paulsen (R-MN)
Lee Terry (R-NE)
Jon Runyan (R-NJ)
Michael Grimm (R-NY)
Tom Reed (R-NY)
David Joyce (R-OH)
Jim Renacci (R-OH)
Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA)
Scott Rigell (R-VA)
Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA)

RBR-TVBR observation: If your representative made this list, congratulations! That means you have early notice that you are a battleground resident. We would start positioning ourselves to rake in some political broadcast spending now before things start really heating up.
