A Local Print Media Group Completes Its Radio Buy

In Canada, the merger of Shaw Communications with Rogers Communications, which closed earlier this week, has been one of North America's biggest dollar-value deals seen in recent memory. In Northern Illinois and in Central Iowa, an unrelated company with a similar name is attracting renewed attention for closing on its acquisition of radio stations being added to a stable comprised of newspapers and magazines.
