Low Sale For A Phoenix-Area AM and FM Translator

In December 2007, a licensee led by John Low acquired an AM radio station licensed to Wickenburg, Ariz., that today is based in Apache Junction, shifting from the far northwestern corner of the sprawling Phoenix DMA to its easternmost point — one that continues to experience unprecedented growth. Now, Low is cashing in by selling the AM, and its FM translator.

FCC Grants Civic Bid For Marks Duo

On June 7, Sage Weil's Civic Media agreed to acquire an AM/FM combo and an FM translator owned by the late Stephen Marks. The FCC has now given its approval to the deal, brokered by Patrick Communications.
