On April 19, 2019, a popular Ohio air personality told listeners to his radio show on a Country station that he had been dealing, successfully, with kidney cancer. However, he shared his 2016 diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis, a serious lung disease requiring a lung transplant. Now, nearly four years later, this local radio star has passed away.

In July 2022, Michael Lee exited as the first Executive Director of the LPTV Broadcasters Association, founded by “SuperFrank” Copsidas. Now, Lee is returning to the advocacy group on an interim basis.

As NBCUniversal sees it, it is a move that demonstrates how the company is "investing in its leadership."  Two key executives in its sales ranks have been promoted, and it is also indicative of the Comcast unit's commitment to cross-divisional partnerships, it says.

Warren Lada stepped in as interim CEO, with Chris Forgy earning the chief executive title in November  Now, with Forgy as Saga's top leader, a member of the Christian family has been recognized for his efforts and has been promoted at the pure-play radio broadcasting company.

New York Festivals Television & Film Awards/Radio Awards will honor The Kalb Report, the  public broadcasting series hosted by journalist Marvin Kalb, with the its 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award at its Storytellers Gala to be held during the 2023 NAB Show on April 18 in Las Vegas.

For the past decade, he's been Area President for the Little Rock, Fayetteville, and Fort Smith, Ark., markets as well as the Springfield, Mo. and Wichita, Ks., markets where iHeartMedia has radio stations. Now, he's taking the title of Area President for the newly formed Texas/Arkansas area.
