The Chief Executive Officer of FOX Television Stations has been selected as Chair of the Broadcasters Foundation of America's 2026 Celebrity Golf Tournament, scheduled for September 14 at Siwanoy Country Club, in the Westchester County city of Bronxville.

She's a native of Georgia's Coastal Empire who has risen through the ranks over the last nine years at the local television operations owned by Sinclair Inc. Now, she's rising from Station Manager at the FOX affiliate in Savannah while also taking on the top leadership role at the dual FOX and ABC affiliate in nearby Macon.

DRG Media has named a new General Manager and Director of Sales and Operations at the South Dakota-based radio broadcasting company. He'll now oversee seven stations after five years as Director of Sales and Campaign Development at Riverfront Broadcasting in Rapid City.

He first attracted a loyal audience at "62 KGW," which aired a Top 40 format until the rise of FM radio stations in the 1980s. He'd go on to a fruitful tenure at "K103," today an iHeartMedia-owned AC stalwart in the local ratings. Now, many are mourning the loss of Craig Walker, who died suddenly on Wednesday.

He was born and raised in San Juan, and in 1993 started his career at WLDI "Oldies 94.7" — a short-lived attempt to bring mainland hits from the late 1950s through the early 1970s with a Spanish-language presentation. Today, he's VP/GM of SBS's stations in Orlando and Tampa and is adding duties in Puerto Rico, too.

A reorganization of the programming operations associated with Connoisseur Media's West Coast properties has taken place, following the shift of "Bay Country" to KUFX-FM in San Jose. "The reorganization strengthens the company's Bay Area and Portland operations while continuing its focus on strong local programming," the company says.

The President/CEO of the newly opened Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, N.D., has been selected by the Board of Trustees of WNET to succeed Neal Shapiro at the entity that oversees key PBS and NPR homes in the New York Tri-State Area. He'll take the role on September 21.

The Chief Programming Executive and General Manager for General Audience Programming at PBS has unexpectedly passed away, President/CEO Paula Kerger shared in a statement released by the public television service on Monday.

The award presentation will be made at the ABA Arkansan of the Year Luncheon on Monday, September 14 at its annual convention. The ABA has been presenting this award since 1977. Past recipients have included J. Will Fullbright, Johnny Cash, Bill Clinton, Don Tyson, and other entertainment, political, sports, and business leaders in Arkansas.

Now that it has all of its assets between San Francisco and San Jose positioned for future growth, Connoisseur Media's West Coast arm has appointed a General Sales Manager. She'll begin her new role on Monday and reports to newly promoted sales pro Debra Lieberman.

The man who heads Salem Media's digital marketing agency has revealed that he's commenced plans to retire, concluding a lengthy tenure at the radio station owner and publishing house parent focused on conservative secular political discourse and non-secular Christian talk and teaching programming.

He joined Beasley Media Group in 2019 and most recently served as Vice President of IT. Now, he's been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Technology and Infrastructure.
