The President/CEO of South Florida PBS, which oversees WPBT-2 in Miami and WXEL-42 in West Palm Beach, has been re-elected Chair of America’s Public Television Stations (APTS).

She's a former VP/Market Manager for Cumulus Media's radio stations serving Ventura County, Calif., rising from Regional VP at the end of 2020. Now, after 13 years, this California local radio veteran is taking on leadership of a group of stations owned by Connoisseur Media.

The Sr. VP and Institutional Financial Advisor at CAPTRUST has been named the recipient of the prestigious Philip J. Lombardo Spirit Award, an honor that salutes an individual or company "that embodies generosity, integrity, and commitment" to the Broadcasters Foundation of America mission.

He's a veteran local media leader who current serves in the dual roles of General Manager and Director of Sales at KPAX-TV, the CBS affiliate in Missoula, Mont., owned by The E.W. Scripps Co. Now, he's being promoted and will serve as the statewide General Manager for Scripps' Montana Television Network.

He joined the "News 3 Now" team in Summer 2025 as Assistant News Director and over the past several months has served as interim news director during a nationwide search process for a station News Director. It turns out he was the best choice for this Morgan Murphy Media station all along.

The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) has turned to a retired media executive who most recently served as Sr. VP/Regional Market Manager for Beasley Media Group's New Jersey stations to serve as its Director of Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships.

Radio programming syndication firm United Stations, today owned by Gemini XIII and led on a day-to-day basis by President Stefan Jones, has appointed a Director of Affiliate Sales and Special Projects who is already overseeing client partnerships, affiliate engagement and product strategy and development.

Broadcast Music, Inc., best known as BMI, has a new Sr. VP and Chief Legal Officer. She reports directly to CEO Mike O'Neill and will be based in New York for the music rights organization that closely works with Radio.

The Executive Vice President for Content at American Public Television, an entity that offers syndication and program exchange services for educational noncommercial stations across the U.S., is preparing to exit the Boston-headquartered organization by the end of January.

As of Monday, Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) will have a new President/Chief Operating Officer. He'll report to CEO Mike O'Neill and oversee the music rights company's ongoing efforts to modernize its platforms, identify new sources of revenue and "improve the affiliate experience."
