An Indianapolis market veteran who started his career in radio as PD of WFMS-FM 95.5 for former owner Susquehanna Radio Corp. has just been given the keys for Emmis Communications' flagship station group.  

There's a new Director of Sales for Alpha Media's West Palm Beach cluster, and it is an individual who has served as VP/Sales for Cumulus Media in Los Angeles and for iHeartMedia in Chicago. He's already on the job and reporting to Elizabeth Hamma.

Cox Media Group (CMG) has appointed four leaders who will work together to fully integrate the privately held company’s portfolio of traditional and digital media platforms in the Atlanta area, beginning in 2018.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America will present the 2018 Golden Mike Award to an individual who has led the seven-station broadcast television division of Graham Media Holdings since 2012.

After 13 years, there's a change in the role of Managing Director at one of the nation's biggest media brokerage firms. At the same time, it is welcoming a Research Director widely known for his experience as a software developer and voice artist.

The Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS)-owned Aire Radio Networks has added an EVP/National Radio Sales and a SVP/National Radio Sales for the national radio platform which creates, distributes and markets Spanish-language radio programming across the U.S.

This individual will transition from her current role in sales oversight for the five Neuhoff markets to her new VP/Market Manager position. She will also continue to serve as Corporate Vice President/Special Projects for the company.

Entercom has followed the lead of CBS Radio by making major announcements via staff memos that eventually make it into the hands of the radio industry trade press. As first reported by Streamline Publishing's co-owned Radio INK, Entercom Market Managers will be adding the SVP title. For industry veterans, the big news involves the naming of a well-known former executive as SVP/Market Manager of Entercom's properties in the nation's No. 3 market.

Greg Ashlock and Hartley Adkins have just been promoted in a big way by the nation’s No. 1 radio broadcaster. In his new role, Ashlock will now manage the entire iHeartMedia Markets Group, including the company’s more than 850 radio stations. Adkins will join the corporate group in New York.

A radio industry veteran perhaps best-known for his roles as COO of Westwood One and as President/COO of Metro Networks has joined Gen Media Partners (GMP) for a senior executive role.

D'Addio is a seven-year veteran of VITEC, and brings more than 25 years of video expertise and executive leadership to his new role. 

There's a new EVP/Insights, Research and Data Analytics at iHeartMedia, starting Nov. 27, and this individual comes on board after a decade running her own consultancy following stints at Yahoo! and bbdo, where she began her career 25 years ago. She replaces Radha Subramanyam, who is taking a big research post at CBS Corp.

A name that's very familiar to Chicagoland media veterans and longtime radio industry professionals has resurfaced on the commercial side of the Windy City's radio dial. Marv Nyren is returning to his old stomping grounds. Only, the stations once owned by Emmis are now owned by Cumulus Media.
