If there’s any one influence peddler who has the ear of both President Trump and Brendan Carr, the Commissioner of the FCC since the start of the current administration at the White House, it is Daniel Suhr.
As President of the right-wing Center for American Rights (CAR), Suhr singlehandedly convinced the Carr Commission to reinstate “news distortion” petitions against three of the “Big Four” networks — a move Democrats condemned as politically charged and biased.
Now, Suhr may have given local broadcast TV owners the biggest Christmas gift they could wish for.
