LOS ANGELES — TV ad sales and tech company Ampersand is welcoming a new Chief Revenue Officer, and it is someone who was most recently EVP and Head of National Sales for the broadcast television station ownership group that is parent to more over-the-air properties than any of its peers and is founded by Perry Sook.

Ampersand’s new CRO is Todd Braverman, and he will be responsible for leading Ampersand’s revenue strategy across its platforms used by advertisers seeking “data-driven, multiscreen TV advertising” tools.

Braverman, says Ampersand, will focus on “deepening relationships with brands, agencies, and partners, while continuing to scale the company’s addressable and audience-based offerings across traditional, streaming, and multiscreen platforms. He will play a central role in evolving Ampersand’s go-to-market strategy, aligning product innovation and delivering on client needs.”

Ampersand President Mike Dean commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Todd to Ampersand at such a pivotal moment in our company’s growth. His track record of building high-performing sales organizations and delivering results across a rapidly evolving TV landscape makes him the ideal leader to help us chart our next chapter.”

In his most recent role, at Nexstar, Braverman oversaw sales across Nexstar’s national network portfolio, including The CW, CW Sports, NewsNation, and the company’s multicast networks. He also launched the company’s National Spot Organization and advancing go-to-market strategies for brands and agencies.

Prior to Nexstar, Braverman was Senior Vice President of Agency Sales Lead at Warner Bros. Discovery. In that role, he managed $1.9 billion in advertising revenue and led all agency partnerships across the company’s entertainment, news, and kids/young-adult brands. He played a key role in launching the HBO Max ad-supported product and led the sales team through several successful Upfront cycles.

“I’m excited to join Ampersand at a time when the TV industry is undergoing so much innovation and transformation,” said Braverman. “Ampersand is uniquely positioned to bring scale, precision, and simplicity to advertisers navigating today’s converged TV landscape. By combining the legacy strengths and scale of television with advanced data and technology, we have an incredible opportunity to deliver even more meaningful solutions to Ampersand partners, and I look forward to working with this talented team to unlock even more value.”
