A Class C3 FM serving the Burlington, Vt.-Plattsburgh, N.Y. market as an Air1 Worship
Music affiliate is poised to become an owned station with the Educational Media Foundation family.
That’s according to paperwork filed with the FCC on Thursday seeking its regulatory approval of the transaction.
WIXM-FM 103.3 in Waterbury, Vt., which has been a Christian music station since November 2024 and before that aired a secular Rock format, is being sold by Edward Flanagan-led Radio Broadcasting Services Inc. and Lisbon Communications to EMF’s K-LOVE Inc.
The transaction includes FM translator W299AM.
A $50,000 purchase price has been agreed upon by the parties. A 10% deposit has been made to the seller by EMF.
RBS and Lisbon are also associated with Jacob Silberberg, who serves as VP.
