Ad Growth In Q2 Stronger-Than-Expected, But Is Radio/TV Absent?

Respected media advertising-focused financial analyst Brian Wieser‘s Madison and Wall has updated its ad forecasts for 2025, thanks to a second quarter that “came in even stronger than we anticipated.”


Yet, while total U.S. advertising growth in Q2 was approximately 10.3%, ex-political, was this fueled almost entirely by digital and social media, given the recent fiscal report cards for radio and television broadcasting companies?
