A change in ownership is coming for a daytime-only Class D AM radio station serving the county seat of Wyoming County, N.Y., and six associated FM translators, paperwork submitted for FCC approval indicates.
WCJW-AM 1140 in Warsaw, N.Y., which must sign off outside of daylight hours to protect Class A WRVA in Richmond, Va., is being sold along with the following FM translators:

The seller is Lloyd Lane, who is using the legal services of Anthony T. Lepore, Esq., to handle the transfer of control of these assets to a 50/50 partnership comprised of Desire and Tom Hoyt.
The Hoyts are associated with Louisville, Ky.-based Pure Radio, a Christian Talk and Teaching network presently heard in Evansville, Ind.; Louisville; and in both Charleston and Huntington, W. Va.
Financial details were not disclosed by the parties.
Lane has operated W288BZ (105.5 MHz), W279BO (103.7 MHz), W285EZ (104.9 MHz), W282BQ (104.3 MHz) and both W265DQ and W265BX (at 100.9 MHz) as “CJ Country,” featuring a Classic Country presentation fed by WCJW-AM. “Jimi Jamm” serves as the Program Director and morning host, while there’s been a News Director and a trio of sales representatives.
Catherine and John Weeks founded WCJW in 1973, hence the AM station’s call sign.
