A Tool Arrives For Procuring Live Sports Broadcasts On-Demand

Vivaro Media, a Monterrey, Mexico-based global media distribution product brand, has launched an on-demand procurement platform designed to simplify and accelerate how content providers and broadcasters connect and deliver live video content.

FLOW is being marketed as a tool that can ease the booking of live sporting events, shifting it from a manual offline process to an automated online “click-to-content” experience. This enables content providers, Vivaro says, to rapidly monetize content to a global customer base of broadcasters.

At the same time, it empowers broadcasters to move with greater agility when procuring and managing their live video transmissions, Vivaro believes.

Vivaro CEO Daniel Gonzalez comments, “FLOW has been developed to offer a friction-free experience and empower content consumers to have full control of their live transmission by eliminating emails and calls to create a booking. This is a massive breakthrough for the industry. We’ve made procuring and managing live content as simple and convenient as booking a hotel room or buying an airplane ticket online. FLOW provides a central digital hub for the broadcast and media industry to distribute live video content. For example, it enables a football league in Brazil to offer its championship match to rights-holders connected to the platform. At the same time, broadcasters can move quickly to deliver in-demand matches and serve local audiences.”

FLOW has been integrated into Vivaro’s international Video Network with 24/7/365 monitoring via its global Network Management Center.

“We have developed FLOW to be highly scalable and resilient,” said Carlos Jurado, Senior Director of Sales Engineering & Operations at Vivaro Media. “We have a dynamic roadmap for developing and delivering new features and capabilities across the platform. FLOW makes the future of live broadcasting simple and seamless.”
