RAYMOND, ME. — Sinclair Inc. broadcast tower subsidiary Dielectric has expanded its executive team with a promotion of a 25-year company leader to the role Vice President of Marketing and Business Services, retroactive to December 23.
Reporting to Dielectric President Keith Pelletier, Kim Savage will continue to lead both departments and oversee all functions across both teams. She will also take on new responsibilities within the Business Services operation at Dielectric.
Kim joined the Dielectric family in 1999 through a project management position with then-owner SPX Technology, which sold Dielectric to Sinclair Inc. in 2013. In 2011, she took the post of Director of Marketing and Business Services.
In her new role, an emphasis on strategic partnerships both inside and outside the broadcast industry will be seen. New partnerships in 2024 include SCMS in North America, which helped to produce rise in FM radio sales for Dielectric. In November, Pippin Technical Service signed on as Dielectric’s sales and support partner throughout Western Canada.
Savage expects to add more partners through 2026, and pursue AI technologies from third-party businesses. These will eventually be tested for potential use in Dielectric’s broadcast and scientific markets, the latter of which typically order custom RF products including power dividers, transmission line, and elbows.
“Dielectric’s embrace of open opportunity and trust in the employees has always made this a great place to work,” said Savage. “For example, I have a new opportunity to make an impact on the future of our FM radio business, both on the technology and management sides. There has always been encouragement from the top down to be creative and try new things. The doors to new opportunity are still here and always have been.”
Pelletier added, “For over 25 years, Kim has been a driving force behind our company’s vision, strategically showcasing our strengths through our greatest challenge — the broadcast repack — and paving the way for our future in the FM market. Her unwavering dedication and expertise have been instrumental in aligning our marketing strategies with our goals, ensuring our continued success and growth. We look forward to Kim’s leadership as she guides us through this exciting new chapter,”
