A Pacific NW Classical Noncomm Goes Silent, Blaming D.C.

A noncommercial FM radio station licensed for 240 watts at 1,263 feet above sea level will go dark on Wednesday, silencing its emissions to Astoria, Ore., just south of the tower on a peak to the north across the Astoria-Megler Bridge connecting Oregon with Washington.


The reason why has everything to do with Washington, D.C., and Capitol Hill, and not the State of Washington.
