Its motto is to broadcast gospel to all of the world, and it does just that via streaming audio and eight terrestrial FM stations spread across Kentucky, southern Ohio and north central Tennessee.

Now, King of Kings Radio is preparing to welcome a ninth station to its broadcast family.

The broadcast ministry tied to Somerset Educational Broadcasting Foundation in Somerset, Ky., is agreeing to purchase WNKW-AM 1480 in Neon, Ky., and FM translator W248DI at 97.5 MHz.

The seller is Sunshine Media Group, which is earning $10,000 from the transaction.

An earnest money deposit of $5,000 has been paid to the seller, led by Quinn Bowling. Equipment includes the AM radio station transmitter and exciter; all usable grounding and coax; and all equipment to be purchased as-is.

WNKW is presently silent under a STA and is licensed as a 5kw daytime-only service from 1 tower. The FM translator has 200 watts of power. The stations cover Jenkins and McRoberts, Ky., on the border with Virginia, expanding King of Kings Radio’s presence in the Bluegrass State eastward.
