KLIS-AM 590 is being sold to Big Toe Media, in a transaction consummated on July 2 and submitted for regulatory approval in the FCC’s LMS on July 21.
Big Toe Media is an entity linked to Dave Greene, who operates Podcast Heat.
This suggests KLIS could become a terrestrial home for some of the Podcast Heat program lineup.
A $250,000 purchase price has been agreed to by the parties, with a 10% downpayment made to Zobrist Media. The remaining funds will be honored by a Promissory Note.
There is no broker or finder associated with this transaction.
KLIS is the former KFNS-AM and was acquired by Zobrist in November 2021 for $450,000. At present, it offers a highly local slate of spoken word programming. The Dave Ramsey Show, a syndicated offering, can be heard from 6pm-9pm Central weekdays.
