In April 2025, RBR+TVBR readers first got to learn about Murfin Media, operator of a group of radio stations headquartered in Wichita, Ks. At the time, the group led by David Murfin saw its My Town Media unit acquire stations in Deerfield and Springfield, Mo.; and in WaKeeney, Ks.
Now, Murfin is signing off on a deal that gives it an FM with a Construction Permit for a 50kw signal capable of receiving Wichita from the south.
