Ted Nahil Returns To Nautel For Key Stateside Role

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. — He has more than 22 years of sales experience for such broadcast technology companies as Harris, ERI, IBS, SCMS, and GatesAir. Until his “retirement” in October 2023, he spent five years as a regional sales manager covering the eastern U.S. for Nautel.

Retirement didn’t suit Ted Nahil. He’s now returned to Nova Scotia-headquartered Nautel.

And, he’ll be taking his old role handling customers in the eastern half of the U.S., as Nautel restores two stateside sales territories to its previous three-territory geography.

As such, Nahil will serve Nautel customers from the Canadian border in Maine through New England, New York and the Mid-Atlantic states, and down through Florida. The furthest west he’ll travel is to West Virginia.

Jeff Welton continues to manage sales in the central U.S. while Jeff Wilson handles the western states.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ted back to Nautel,” said Tracey Connolly, Nautel’s Director of Global Broadcast Sales. “His extensive broadcast industry experience, deep customer relationships, and proven track record make him an exceptional addition to our team. Ted’s knowledge of the Eastern U.S. market and longstanding industry connections will help strengthen our customer engagement and support our continued growth across the region. We are excited about the expertise and energy he brings as we continue to invest in serving broadcasters throughout North America.”

Nahil most recently served as a U.S. rep alongside Steve Paulson for Germany-based 2wcom Systems GmbH.

At GatesAir from March 2014-November 2018, he departed as Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast U.S.

From November 2012 until joining GatesAir, Nahil was a field sales engineer for SCMS.
