He’s a prolific buyer and seller of low-power TV stations across the U.S. and one of the more visible licensees of these mini broadcast facilities that could one day power 5G Broadcast technology in the U.S.
Now, he’s saying farewell to a LPTV station on the Jersey Shore.
For $450,000, Jeff Winemiller-led Lowcountry 34 Media agreed to sell W24ET-D in Atlantic City, N.J., to Pennsylvania-based nonprofit Lighthouse Support.
This will give the Christian talk and teaching media ministry a broadcast TV signal over the New Jersey city, making it a sibling to WBFH-60 in the Lehigh Valley and WLYH-49, which serves the Harrisburg area to the west of Philadelphia.
For viewers, a shift in programming from Cornerstone-affiliated offerings is in the works.
Serving as Winemiller’s legal counsel is Davina Sashkin of Wilkinson Barker Knauer; the buyer’s legal counsel is Joe Chautin III of Hardy Carey Chautin & Balkin.
