A veteran Georgia-based radio broadcaster and owner has joined Guest Technology in a brokerage and consulting role, with an emphasis on small to medium markets.
Troy Mattox, who owned and operated WKUB, WWUF, and WSGT — FM stations in the Waycross-Blackshear, Ga., area — until selling them four years ago, is taking a role at the operation.
Guest calls Mattox “an expert at minimizing operating expenses while emphasizing quality programming and heavy local involvement on the air, including sporting events.”
Mattox was elected to the Georgia Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
