In November 2017, Entercom agreed to trade four Boston radio stations and three Seattle radio stations to iHeartMedia as part of an effort to win regulatory approval of its merger with CBS Radio.
In return, Entercom received four stations in Chattanooga, Tenn., and six stations in Richmond, including WRNL-AM. An FM translator is tied to WRNL, but a trade couldn’t happen back then.
It can happen now.
