For those who love twirling Terrible Towels and care to follow their favorite NFL team while away from a TV screen, they’ll be no changes when it comes to what radio stations in the Steel City to turn to across the next five seasons.

An extension of the audio agreement between iHeartMedia‘s Pittsburgh station group and the Pittsburgh Steelers will keep the cluster as the home for the newly named “Steelers Audio Network” through the 2028 season.

The network will feature game day broadcasts, ancillary programs, the digitally distributed “Steelers Nation Radio,” podcasts and social media content.

On the FM dial, WDVE-FM 102.5 will remain the go-to home for Steelers games, continuing 25 years of serving as its FM radio hub.

WBGG-AM 970 “FOX SPORTS Pittsburgh” will also air the team’s games.

“We are excited to announce the continuation of our long-standing partnership with iHeartMedia and our flagship station, 102.5 WDVE,” said Ryan Huzjak, the Steelers’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We teamed up with iHeart to build a new platform that allows Steelers Nation to connect with the team – where they want and on their terms.”

The new agreement features year-round programming across the Steelers Audio Network, including both live and on-demand shows.

Live Steelers programming will now be featured weekdays on WBGG-AM, too.

“We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with the Pittsburgh Steelers,” said iHeartSports President Kevin LeGrett. “Our renewed agreement, now known as ‘Steelers Audio Network’ encompasses a comprehensive range of audio offerings, delivering an exceptional listening experience for Steelers fans. Additionally, we’re excited to provide promotional support and further brand awareness across all six iHeartMedia Pittsburgh stations and digital sites. Our longstanding partnership continues to thrive, and we look forward to celebrating many more victories together!”
