Young stock moves to Nasdaq Capital Market

With its stock trading below a buck for some time now, Young Broadcasting announced that it has gotten approval from a Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel to move its stock listing from the Nasdaq Global Market to the Nasdaq Capital Market, which until three years ago was known as the Nasdaq Small Cap Market. It has stock trading by about 450 companies, according to Young. The TV company’s stock will continue to trade with the symbol “YBTVA.”  Young had received a notice from Nasdaq in June that it was not in compliance with minimum standards for the Nasdaq Global Market.
