TORONTO — One of the biggest media industry mergers, valued at $19.22 billion USD, has just rounded the corner to the finish line, thanks to the approval by the Minister for Innovation, Science and Industry of the transfer of licenses from Freedom Mobile to Videótron.
With that OK from Ottawa, the long-awaited merger of Rogers Communications and Shaw Communications is now imminent.
