Wicker Waits On STELAR As House Preps Thursday Hearing

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Roger Wicker has postponed a vote scheduled for Wednesday (11/13) on the Satellite Television Access Reauthorization (STAR) Act — including the amendment to end what Consumer Reports dubs “hidden fees for cable, internet, and phone service.”

Perhaps he’s yielding to the lower body of Congress to see what the Democratic-controlled House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Communications and Technology has to say about the bill, up for debate at its own hearing on Thursday.
