An entity led by Peter Harkness that’s based in Sterling, Ill., has agreed to acquire a Class A FM serving the Sauk Valley of Illinois.
The deal includes real estate, and the station’s broadcast tower, in addition to the station’s FCC licensee.
Sauk Valley Broadcasting Company has agreed to sell WLLT-FM 94.3 in Polo, Ill., to Harkness’ White Rabbit Broadcasting LLC.
A $300,000 purchase price has been agreed to by the parties. A $30,000 escrow deposit has been made to the seller.
Serving as Sauk Valley’s broker of record is Greg Guy of Tideline Partners.
The buyer’s legal counsel in this transaction is David O’Neil of Rini O’Neil.
