The U.S Central Regional Sales Manager for Nautel has been elected to a two-year term on the board of directors for the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE).
Jeff Welton, who has been with Nautel for more than 30 years, holds a CBRE certification from the SBE and has been a frequent contributor to the Society’s publications and meetings on broadcast engineering topics.
In 2018, Welton was named the SBE Educator of the Year; he has also been recognized by the National Association of Broadcasters (2020 NAB Radio Engineering Achievement Award) and the Association of Public Radio Engineers (2019 APRE Engineering Achievement Award).
“Jeff is a superb source of radio broadcast engineering knowledge and has developed a strong relationship with engineers all over the world,” said Kevin Rodgers, Nautel’s President and CEO. “We’re very proud of his achievements and know he will be an excellent resource for the SBE during his tenure as a director.”
