Week 10: Univision takes Two Nights in overall primetime

Univision the #1 Broadcast Network on Two Nights Last Week In Overall Primetime among ALL Adults 18-34.
 
Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 11/22/10
 
•     Last week, Univision was the #1 broadcast network in primetime on Wednesday (1.1 million) and Friday (1.1 million) night among Adults 18-34; beating its closest competitor, ABC,  on both nights by +6% and +87%, respectively.
 
•      On Friday Night, Univision was the #1 most-watched broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-49 (1.9 million), Teens 12-17 (289,000) and ranked #4 among Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 million).
 
•     Last Friday, the 2 most-watched broadcast programs among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 were Univision’s #1 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe) and #2 “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel).
 
•     Univision finished the week as the #4 broadcast network among all Adults 18-34 (898,000), Kids 2-11(422,000) and ranked #5 among Total Viewers 2+ (3.3 million), Adults 18-49 (1.7 million) and Teens 12-17 (200,000).
 
•       During Thanksgiving week, Univision delivered the highest primetime growth of any broadcast network  versus the comparable week last year among Total Viewers 2+ (+3%), Adults 18-49 (+4%), Adults 18-34 (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (3%).
•        Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, on 2 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 5 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.
 
•       Univision programs were among the Top broadcast shows of the week, including 3 of the Top 30 among Adults 18-34, 2 of the Top 30 among Adults 18-49 and 4 of the Top 30 among Teens 12-17.
 
•       Last week, all telecasts of Univision’s novelas “Eva Luna” and “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) delivered more Adults 18-34 than English-language programs such as CBS’s “The Good Wife;” NBC’s “Chuck,” “The Event” and ABC’s “No Ordinary Family” among others.
 
•       “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #4 ranked broadcast network, beating CBS, on Saturday night among Adults 18-34 (590,000) and Teens 12-17 (127,000).
 
•       On Sunday night, Univision attained the #4 ranking in primetime among Adults 18-34 (839,000), beating ABC by +18%, thanks to the  red carpet special coverage of “Noche de Estrellas: Premios TV y Novelas” and the award show “Premios TV y Novelas.”
 
•       The award show “Premios TV y Novelas” on Sunday night attracted 3.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 million Adults 18-49, 924,000 Adults 18-34 and 1.1 million Persons 12-34.  This year’s “Premios TV y Novelas” special saw audience increases versus last year’s performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+9%), Adults 18-49 (+1%), Adults 18-34 (+4%) and Persons 12-34 (+9%).  The special also delivered more Adults 18-34 than CBS’s “60 Minutes,” the special “Hallmark Hall of Fame” and ABC’s entire Sunday night line-up.
