Veteran D.C. Communications Attorney Sheds ‘Impact’ Interest

He has practiced communications law for over 40 years, and has often emerged as a fierce opponent of FCC regulatory policy on behalf of his clients. Interestingly, he started his career in the Commission’s Common Carrier Bureau.

While Arthur Belendiuk is largely known for his work as an attorney in Washington, D.C., he’s also been the 50/50 equity holder in a broadcast licensee. That’s about to change.

How so? Impact Radio, licensee of WTNN-FM in Bristol, Vt., is poised to become wholly owned by John J. Fuller, with Belendiuk selling his half of the equity interest in Impact to Mr. Fuller.

A $100,000 stock transfer agreement was signed by the parties in May, and filed on Tuesday for regulatory approval.

Serving as Fuller’s legal counsel is Scott Woodworth of Edinger Associates PLLC.

WTNN is a Class C3 FM offering Country music to the Burlington, Vt., market.
